DESCRIPTION:NRA Instructor Weekend\nThe instructor weekend is three days learning how to teach NRA Basic Rifle and Basic\nPistol.\nThis course teaches the knowledge\, skills\, and attitude essential to organizing\,\npromoting\, and teaching NRA’s Basic Pistol Shooting course and NRA’s Basic Rifle\nShooting course. The weekend comprises three parts: Basic Instructor Training (BIT) on\nFriday and discipline-specific instructor training on Saturday and Sunday.\nPrerequisite: Possession of basic firearm safety and shooting skills is a requirement for\ncertification as an NRA instructor. Prior to the instructor training\, candidates complete\nthe NRA basic course in each discipline.
